Description
The UC3842AD is a current-mode pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller designed for switch-mode power supply (SMPS) applications such as boost, buck, fly back, forward, and other DC-DC converter topologies. It integrates key control and protection functions on-chip to simplify power-supply design and improve performance. Typical uses include off-line power supplies, isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, battery chargers, and LED drivers.
