Description

The UC3844BD is a fixed-frequency current-mode PWM controller designed to implement off-line or DC-to-DC fixed frequency power-conversion control schemes with minimal external components. It integrates:

• trimmed oscillator for precise duty-cycle control
• precision reference
• current sense and PWM comparator
• internal under-voltage lockout (UVLO)
• high-current totem-pole output suitable for driving external MOSFETs or switching transistors.

This makes it ideal for switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, boost/fly back or other topologies, and general power-management/voltage-regulator designs.
